Community Standards
Voxara is a free, student-led volunteer platform that connects volunteers with communities that need them across six programs: Together in Tune (music), Game Day (sports), Tech Bridge (technology help), Bright Minds (tutoring), Launchpad (internships), and Discovery Lab (research). To keep this community safe, professional, and mission-aligned, all users agree to the following standards upon joining.
Professional Conduct
All interactions between volunteers and hosts must be respectful, professional, and focused on the shared mission of community service. Voxara serves a wide range of people and groups, including seniors, children, youth athletes, students, interns, and research participants. All users are expected to conduct themselves accordingly at all times.
Platform Monitoring
All messages sent through the Voxara platform are subject to review by the platform administrator for safety and community standards compliance. By using Voxara, you consent to this monitoring.
Session Commitments
When a session is scheduled and confirmed, both parties are expected to follow through. If you need to cancel, notify the other party through the platform as early as possible. Repeated no-shows may result in account suspension.
Reporting
If you experience a problem with another user, use the Report a Problem button inside your chat at any time. All reports are reviewed by the platform administrator.
Removal Policy
Voxara reserves the right to remove any user from the platform at any time, for any reason, at the sole discretion of the platform administrator. This includes but is not limited to: inappropriate conduct, misrepresentation, safety concerns, or repeated cancellations. Removed users will be notified and may contact Voxara to appeal.
Free to Use
Voxara is free for all volunteers and hosts. No one pays to join, to list an opportunity, or to take part in a session.
