Volunteer Safety

Every Voxara division has its own safety rules, shown on that division's page. Before you can book a session, you must read and agree to the rules for the division you are joining. Background checks and any required documents are the responsibility of the host organization — for example, a senior living community, a youth league, a school, a lab, or a company. Voxara does not run background checks itself. Volunteers should follow the host's instructions at all times and never be alone in a private space with a minor or a vulnerable adult. If a host asks for a document (such as an ID, a background check, or a waiver), you upload it to Voxara and it is visible only to you, that host, and Voxara admins. You can delete any document you uploaded at any time from your My Requirements page. If you ever feel unsafe or see something that does not seem right, stop, leave the situation, and report it through the Report a Problem button in your chat or the Contact page.
